Sticky Bird Wichita PR June 2023
ModuAll Streamlines Restaurant Development and Construction with First Sticky Bird Chicken Location in Wichita, KS
ModuAll, a LANGE company, is helping design the company’s first MQSR prototype
WICHITA, Kansas (June 05, 2023) – Sticky Bird, a Utah-based chicken restaurant, will soon be putting down roots in west Wichita. The company is working with Lange Real Estate and ModuAll, a LANGE company specializing in modular quick-service restaurant (MQSR) development, to build a new location where site development and restaurant development are being done simultaneously to save time and resources.
The Tyler build site (616 S. Tyler) is currently undergoing development to accommodate the MQSR prototype for the upcoming Sticky Bird restaurant. The prototype was being designed and constructed simultaneously by ModuAll at its manufacturing center, aiming to expedite the development process. The building was delivered and installed on the site on May 31, 2023, with the grand opening scheduled for early July.
“We are thrilled to partner with ModuAll to build our first modular restaurant,” said Brandon Howard, president of Sticky Bird. “We love the MQSR concept because it allows us to move quickly and bring our product to a new city faster with a smaller restaurant. This makes it easier to experiment in different markets and bring a taste of something different to new communities like Wichita.”
Leveraging ModuAll’s expertise and innovative approach to multi-workstream construction is key to achieving this ambitious goal, as well as sharing knowledge and capabilities with other LANGE companies. As a new company in the LANGE family, ModuAll benefits from shared insights and modular construction experience from sister company RedGuard, which specializes in blast-resistant buildings and structures serving the oil and gas industry.
At its core, ModuAll offers full-service real estate site selection, construction, site prep and building installation services under one roof, but can also provide tailored services a la carte to meet the unique needs of each partner. This flexible approach allows restaurateurs the ability to customize services for each project, resulting in significant time and resource savings through a seamless and efficient development process.
While this will be Sticky Bird’s first Wichita location, the company and its franchise partners are exploring additional opportunities in the Wichita market. In addition to providing fast-casual, handcrafted menu items, Sticky Bird is a community-focused company that supports social initiatives such as teaching life skills to people impacted by addiction.
“We have big plans for Wichita, and we know that we can offer this community more than just great chicken,” added Howard. “Working with LANGE and ModuAll, we believe we can do big things from a small footprint. This is just the beginning, but we’re already incredibly excited for what’s next.”
